2005: Competed in all seven races for the Gaels in his junior season...ran his personal best 8k time with 27:44 at the Bronco Invite on Oct. 15...was the Gael front runner in five of the seven races, including the West Coast Conference Championships where he ran a time of 29:21...was named the teams Most Valuable Runner.

2004: Competed in all six races for the Gaels his sophomore season...opened the year with a 30 second personal best time of 28:03 at the USF Invitational at Golden Gate Park...finished the season in 44th place at the WCC Championships with an 8k time of 28:49.

2003: Hanley competed in all seven races for the Gaels in his freshman campaign with his personal best time coming at the UC Riverside Invitational where he finished the 8k course in a time of 28:35...finished 52nd overall at the WCC Championships with a time of 29:15.

High School: Graduated from Moorpark High School in Moorpark, CA...participated in cross country and track...help team to the CIF Finals in cross country...track team took League title...earned All-League selection. Plans to major in Business at Saint Mary's.
