2007: Selected a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball...named to 2007 Ping Baseball Freshman All-American team... was named a Perfect Game Mid-Season Freshman All-American...started in all 51 games for the Gaels as a true freshman...batted .320 (55-for-172) which ranked second on the team and added a home run and a team-leading 37 RBI...tallied 23 runs, two doubles and 60 total bases...walked a team-leading 30 times and led the squad with a .438 on base percentage...was a perfect 2-for-2 on stolen bases...batted 3-for-4 in first collegiate game against Nevada...batted 5-for-7 in first two games of Nevada series...batted 2-for-5 with a RBI 3/18 vs. SUU...batted 3-for-4 with 2 RBI at SJSU on 4/10...batted 2-for-3 with a RBI vs. LMU on 4/15...batted 2-for-4 with a RBI on 4/20 at Gonzaga...batted 2-for-4 with a RBI on 4/25 at CSSU...batted 3-for-4 with a run and RBI on 5/1 vs. Patten...drove in game-winner against SCU on 5/6...drilled first career home run on a 2-for-4 day, adding two runs and three RBI on 5/13 at USF...on the mound led the Gaels with six wins...made 12 appearances and 10 starts...sported a 6-4 record with a 4.44 ERA...struck out 46 in 52.2 innings pitched...struck out a career-high 12 in a complete game five-hitter against Columbia on March 4...earned first career win against San Jose St. on Feb. 4...fielded .995 and made only two errors in 395 chances.

High School: Comes to Saint Mary's from De La Salle High School where he earned two letters for Spartans head coach Eric Borba...led the team last season with a 0.68 ERA and two saves in 31.3 innings...batted .456 with three home runs and 35 RBIs...added six doubles and three triples...was named First-Team BVAL and First-Team East Bay along with an All-Contra Costa Times selection...batted 6-for-12 with six RBI in three playoff games.
