Nik Kosach Position: Volunteer Assistant Experience: First Year Alma Mater: Portland 2006

Nik Kosach comes to Saint Mary's after a standout collegiate career at the University of Portland in Oregon. As a four-year starter at various positions for the Pilots, Kosach collected many accolades during his career in Portland. Kosach finished sixth in West Coast Conference play in both batting average (.388) and on-base percentage (.448)during his senior season. He also led the Pilots in fielding percentage as a catcher, making just one error in 175 total chances that same year. Overall Kosach finished his four-year career at Portland 7th all time in games started and 8th all time in games played.

Kosach earned his Bachelor degree in Organizational Communication in 2006. He will be in charge of the Gaels catchers while in his first season at Saint Mary's College.
