High School: Comes to Saint Mary's from Oakmont High School in Roseville, CA where he lettered three years in baseball and one in basketball...was an All-City and All-Pioneer League selection both his junior and senior seasons...was 5-3 with a 1.62 ERA and 90 Ks his senior season on the mound...his 90 strikeouts ranked 46th in California...batted .350 with a home run and 12 RBIs...at the plate, the Roseville native batted .380 with two home runs and 19 RBI in 2005...in 29 games he scored 20 runs and collected six doubles...his 10 wins was the second best mark in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Section and his 82 Ks ranked him 19th overall...was also recruited by LMU, Cal Poly, San Jose St., Sacramento State.
