High School: Comes to Saint Mary's from Clayton Valley High School where he lettered in baseball all four years...was named to the All-BVAL First-Team three times and was named an all-state and All-American selection his senior year along with a All-Contra Costa Times selection...batted .557 which ranked 38th in the state...added two home runs and 21 RBIs while swiping 19 bags and compiling 44 hits in 22 games...was ranked #150 of 400 by Baseball America and #90 of 100 by Team One Baseball...was also ranked fifth in Northern California and 24th in the State by Perfect Game Baseball...was also recruited by Arizona State, Oregon State, Cal and UC Irvine.
