Moraga, CA - Freshman point guard Patrick Mills was named a Mid-Major Second Team All-American by Mills helped the Gaels post a 25-7 overall record this season, while leading the team in scoring, assists and steals in his first season in the program.

Mills started all 32 games, and was the first freshman at Saint Mary's to make the starting line-up in his first game since Daniel Kickert in 2002. Mills led the team in scoring, averaging 14.8 points per game, and his 472 total points set a school freshman record for points in a season, topping Kickert's previous record of 390 points during the 2002-03 campaign.
