Moraga, CA - Saint Mary's men's basketball senior guard, Todd Golden, was named to the Jewish Sports Review 2008 All-America Team for his efforts this past season. The Jewish Sports Review compiled two lists, a first team and honorable mention squad, with Golden grabbing a spot on the first team.

Golden could not have ended his career at Saint Mary's much better, as he helped the Gaels to a 25-7 overall record and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The 2008 March Madness experience marked the second for Golden, as he was a member of the 2005 Saint Mary's squad that also earned an at-large bid into the postseason. Golden finished his senior season averaging 7.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, while playing and starting in all 32 games for the Gaels. In addition, the senior accumulated an impressive 3.6 assist to turnover ratio, one of the best in the nation.

Golden is the only Saint Mary's basketball player to reach two NCAA Tournaments, and this season the guard became the winningest player in the history of the program, compiling an impressive 86-43 mark throughout his four-year career.

Joining Golden on the first team were, Jon Scheyer (Duke), Tal Mekel (Wichita State), Derek Glasser (Arizona State), and Drew Houseman (Harvard). Honorable mention honorees include Michael Gruner (Lafayette), Heiden Ratner (James Madison), and Charles Dewhurst (UNC Charlotte).
