Brent Jensen enters his third year as an assistant coach for the Saint Mary's men's golf program. Jensen returned to the Saint Mary's golf program as a coach after spending four years on the squad as a player.

Jensen graduated from SMC in the summer of 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. While playing at SMC, Jensen, a 2003-04 team captain, finished his senior season with a 78.6 stroke average and played in 24 of the teams 28 total rounds.

Jensen played 107 rounds while at Saint Mary's, which is the second most rounds played in school history. He finished his playing career at SMC with a 75.8 stroke average, which ranked second in school history when he graduated. He now ranks seventh in the school record books for stroke average. During his freshman season, he was named the team's Most Valuable Player and was the Runner-up Freshman of the Year in the West Coast Conference.

Jensen currently plays professionally on the Gateway Tour and the Spanos Tour.
