Pasatiempo, CA - After 36 holes at the 61st Annual Western Intercollegiate, the Saint Mary's men's golf team is in 12th place out of 18 teams. The Gaels posted rounds of 288-293-581 (+21) at the par-70, 6,432 yard Pasatiempo Golf Club.

Purdue leads the team competition after shooting rounds a 36-hole total of 562 (+2) and holds a two shot lead over Long Beach State. The Gaels enter Tuesday's final round19 shots off the pace of the leading Boilermakers.

Saint Mary's was led by Josh Kelley, who posted rounds of 70 and 69 to finish the first day of the event with a 1-under par score of 139. Kelley will enter tomorrow's final round in eighth place and six shots off the leader, Brett Lederer of Long Beach State.

Mike McRae posted an opening round 70 and then followed that with a 6-over par 76 in the second round on Monday. McRae's total of 146 is currently good for 40th place overall. Daniel Cone shot rounds of 75 and 76 and is in 51st place overall with a 9-over par score of 149.

Brett Mormann opened the tournament with a 76 and then bettered his score by two shots in the second round with a 4 to shot 150 (+10) after 36 holes. Robert McRae finished the first 36 holes with a total of 152 (+12) after posting rounds of 73 and 79 on Monday.

The Gaels will complete the Western Intercollegiate on Tuesday with the final 18 holes of play from the Pasatiempo Golf Club.
