Moraga, CA - Scott Hardy, the five-time West Coast Conference Coach of the Year of the No. 50 ranked Saint Mary's men's golf team, will be a guest on the "Hooked on Golf" radio show on KNBR. The "Hooked on Golf" radio show airs from 8-9 a.m. on Sunday mornings on KNBR AM 680 with hosts Mitch Juresich and John Abendroth.

The Saint Mary's golf team completed its 2007-08 season ranked 50th in the country, with Hardy in his eight season. The Gaels finished tied for second in the West Coast Conference Championships, falling four shots behind San Diego. SMC finished the season with a fourth place finish in the 2008 Ping Cougar Classic, as Michael and Robert McRae got to play in their home state of Utah. The Gaels' best finish of the season came at the prestigious Western Intercollegiate, when Saint Mary's captured its only tournament win of the season at the Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz, CA.

Following the completion of the season, Saint Mary's is now waiting to see if they will earn the school's second ever NCAA Tournament berth, and second in four years. The announcement of the 2008 81-team NCAA Golf Championship field will be announced on Monday, May 5 at 3 p.m. PST.
