Redwood Shores, CA- This Sunday women's rowing competed at the Redwood Shores in the Windermere Collegiate Crew Classic. Conditions were good as the Gaels posted a 22 second win over Sonoma State in the Women's Lightweight JV competition.

Saint Mary's varsity-8 finished first with a time of 7:07, while the Seawolves posted a 7:29. The Gaels' varsity-8 lineup included: coxwain, Amy Bellman, stroke, Lindsey Anderson, Dana Smith, Brittney Cunningham, Janelle Silva, Kyla Tom, Kristine Myhre, Linzey Simonson and bow Lindsay Juricich.

Senior, Lindsay Juricich commented on the race by saying, "It was a good race today and I feel that we really came together to perform our best against Sonoma State."

Women's rowing returns to the water on April 16th at the Governor's Cup held at the Willamette River in Oregon.
