5/12/08 Women's Rowing Posts Petite Final Finish At Dad Vail Regatta Philadelphia, PA - In the Dad Vail Regatta from the Schuylkill River, the Saint Mary's women's rowing team participated in two events. Both varsity eight boats competed in the regatta, with the first varsity eight boat posting an 11th place finish overall, while the second varsity eight finished fourth in their heat race.
Lake Natoma, CA - In the 2008 Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships, the Saint Mary's women's rowing team competed in five events. In those five events, Saint Mary's would advance its two varsity boats into the petite finals, while the varsity four and lightweight four advanced to the finals.
Lake Natoma, CA - In the 2008 West Coast Conference women's rowing Championships, Saint Mary's posted a fourth place finish from Lake Natoma. The Gaels finished with 13 total points, as SMC posted a third place finish in the varsity eight event, a fifth place finish in the second varsity eight race, and a fourth place finish in the varsity four competition.
