Entering her first season as an assistant coach for the Saint Mary's softball team is Staci Hamaguchi. Hamaguchi's primary duties will be to work with the infield, outfield and hitters. Off the field she will assist with recruiting, scouting and equipment and game-day management.

Hamaguchi, a 2005 graduate of SMC with a degree in sociology and anthropology, finished her playing career with 186 games played, 27 stolen bases on 29 attempts and 43 runs scored.

Hamaguchi is currently earning her Masters in Kinesiology at Saint Mary's and is scheduled to complete her degree in the summer of 2007.
