High School: Comes the Saint Mary's from Mission Viejo...attended Capistrano Valley high school where she earned three letters in softball and one in basketball...was named to the All-South Coast League three years...name her team's offensive MVP for three years.

Personal: Is the daughter of Doug Smith, an offensive lineman for the Los Angeles Rams from 1978 to 1991. Doug Smith appeared in six straight Pro-Bowls from 1984 to 1989.
